Lydia Russell is a professional triathlete based in Tucson, Arizona. She came to the sport as a college cross-country runner before finding triathlon at the University of Arizona, where she earned All-American honors and represented the U.S. at the U23 World Championships.
Her professional debut season was a fast one: a win at Ironman 70.3 Pennsylvania Happy Valley, a podium at 70.3 Augusta, and a sixth-place finish at St. George with the fastest run split in the pro women's field. She's now racing a full 2026 calendar across middle-distance and draft-legal formats.
